In summer 2009, Cal Poly Lacrosse and the Los Angeles Inner-City Lacrosse Association teamed up to present the inaugural session of the Central Coast Lacrosse Camp (CCLC), a week-long, non-profit summer camp for inner-city teenagers. Lax In LA, which serves over a dozen schools in the South Central Los Angeles area, provides a unique opportunity for underserved youth, combining the sport of lacrosse with much needed academic and social mentoring.
The Central Coast Lacrosse Camp would not be possible without the generous donations received from companies, families, and individuals across California and the country.
The Los Angeles Inner-City Lacrosse Association and Cal Poly Lacrosse would like to thank all of our many donors that made the inaugural 2009 camp a tremendous success!!!
