ALUMNI WEEKEND NOVEMBER 6th and 7th 2026

Join us in celebrating Cal Poly Men’s Lacrosse Hall of Fame inductees Josh Moore and Kendal Shomura!

Josh Moore made a lasting impact as a player, coach, and alumni leader. An offensive standout from 2004–2007, he helped the Mustangs reach two MCLA National Tournaments. As an assistant coach from 2010–2016, he helped guide Cal Poly to five WCLL titles and two national championship game appearances, returning in 2020 as the Mustangs finished the shortened season ranked No. 1 nationally. His dedication continued as Alumni Board President from 2016–2024.

Kendal Shomura anchored the Mustangs’ defense during back-to-back WCLL championship seasons and national tournament appearances in 2009 and 2010. He earned First Team All-WCLL and team Defensive MVP honors both years, adding WCLL Tournament MVP and MCLA Division I All-American Honorable Mention recognition in 2010. In 2011, he continued giving back as an assistant coach, helping develop the next group of Mustang defenders.

Both exemplify the talent, leadership, and commitment that define Cal Poly Lacrosse. Congratulations, Josh and Kendal, on this well-deserved honor!
