Sean Pihl's Effort in the Desert

Sean Pihl was named Honorable Mention in the D1 Player of the Week in Week 2 for his All American quality performance against ASU and GCU. Sean is on pace for an All American year and was the anchor on a smothering Cal Poly defense.

Sean Pihl, Jr., Cal Poly – The Mustangs nearly pulled off an impressive desert sweep, and Pihl did his part. He made 16 saves in a 5-4 win over No. 3 Arizona State before stopping 17 more in a triple overtime loss to No. 9 Grand Canyon.
